Medical & Dental

St. Mary’s offers comprehensive medical plan options with different levels of coverage and cost so youcan choose the plan that best meets your individual and family needs. Our plans focus on wellness and provide preventive screenings at 100% coverage in-network. Our dental plan gives you the flexibility to use a participating network of dentists or a dentist of your choice. The plan is designed to encourage preventative care, which is covered at 100%, as well as coverage for basic and advanced dental services. We offer a variety of supplemental policies. St. Mary’s pays 75% for medical and dental insurance policies.

Vision

Vision benefits offer coverage for routine eye examinations as well as glasses or contact lenses. Our provider allows for in-network or out-of-network options.

Retirement

St. Mary’s plans offer employees a way to start saving after their first year of employment. St. Mary’s matches employee contribution dollar for dollar up to 4% of the employee base wages. St. Mary’s currently makes matching contributions on an annual basis. St. Mary’s Retirement Plans are designed to assist employees in maintaining financial independence during retirement years.

PTO

Employees earn Paid Time off (PTO) based on years of service. PTO begins accruing after you successfully complete your six month evaluation period. More details are in the employee handbook.

Holidays

There are 8 paid holidays, including four floating holidays designated by St. Mary’s. Part-time benefits eligible employees earn holidays on a pro-rated basis.  The list of all observed holidays are outlined in the employee handbook provided at staff orientation.

Transportation

St. Mary’s offers transportation for people with limited access to personal vehicles for a nominal fee.

Eligibility: If you don’t sign up when you become eligible, you will have to wait for the open enrollment. Open enrollment is an annual process. Check to see when the open enrollment period begins. Please contact the hiring and benefits coordinator for more information about enrollment.
